A Cavan Senator has spoken out on the costs of disability and the lack of support in budget 2026.
Pauline Tully spoke in the Seanad today about how she attended a protest held yesterday outside Leinster House, which was highlighting the issue.
She noted, people with disabilities, their advocates and carers have been advocating for a cost of disability payment for years, which she said was promised before the last election.
She noted that disabled people want a definite payment and don't want to be going from budget to budget wondering will they get help this year.
Senator Tully spoke about the issue in the Seanad today.
