Lidl Ireland has announced that two Cavan suppliers have been successfully selected to take part in its 2026 Kickstart Supplier Development Programme.
The initiative is celebrating 10 years of supporting Irish food and drink producers.
The Kickstart Class of 2026 represents a wave of ambitious producers spanning food, drink, wellness, and artisan categories.
Among those selected is Moran's Mega Jambasil pesto and garlic mayonnaise and Cully's bakery batch loaf.
Both businesses will benefit from Lidl’s six-month development programme designed to support emerging Irish brands as they scale into retail and export markets.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Kieron Moran of Moran's Mega Jam said the programme will give the business the opportunity to reach customers that it would of never reached before.
He added that it will also be an opportunity to gain customers for life on both sides of the border.
Welcoming the 2026 cohort, Kevin Duffy, Chief Commercial Officer for Kickstart at Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: "Reaching ten years of Kickstart is a proud milestone for Lidl Ireland and a testament to the ambition, resilience and quality of Irish producers.
"Over the past decade, we have seen small and emerging businesses grow into recognised retail brands, creating jobs and expanding into new markets at home and abroad as they become firm favourites of our customers."
