The St Patrick's Day parade is set to be bigger and better this year in Cavan Town.
The county town had to cancel its parade last year due to a lack of volunteers and funding difficulties.
A three day entertainment filled festival has been planned to suit all the family. The theme is focused on celebrating our Irishness through comedy, music, dance, and arts.
The culture-themed weekend gets off the ground this Friday, with the main parade in the town planned for Sunday the 16th of March from 1.30pm. Philip Brady, the Chairman of the Cavan Chamber of Commerce says Cavan Town’s St Patrick’s Day Parade is “back with a bang.”
