A Cavan band has been nominated for a national music award.
Face of the Earth is the Ulster nominee for the Star Nation People's Choice Award.
The two piece rock band, made up of Fabian Gillick on base and vocals and Siobhan Denton on drums, was first formed in 2016.

Four regional winners were chosen. They'll each receive a recording session at the Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin.
The overall national winner will receive 3,000 Euros worth of musical equipment.
Voting runs until August 17th.
