A woman living in Cavan says young people can't afford any social activities in the county.
Pat, who has lived in Cavan full-time for a year and a half, told the story of her daughter and her friend paying 60 euro for 2 tickets and food at a Cavan cinema. According to Pat, the same tickets and food in Dublin cost in the region of 30 euro. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Pat says that young people are left with little to do, due to the price of leisure activities nowadays.
She added that a cinema in Cavan should be nowhere near as expensive as the capital city.
