A local councillor has outlined how to enhance the experience of fans coming to St. Tiernach's Park.
Cllr. Pat Treanor was speaking ahead of the GAA's Presidential Election tonight.
Three candidates are in the race to succeed Jarlath Burns as GAA President in 2027.
The Irish Times has reported today that all three candidates have highlighted the Casement Park redevelopment project.
All three called for an examination into the Antrim GAA ground, with rising costs among a number of issues leading to the venue being left vacant since 2013.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr. Treanor said that St. Tiernach's Park is not competing with Casement Park.
He said: "What we should be doing is improving our own stadium in Clones, and improving the experience of people coming to Clones.
"It always has been very popular with people from all of the counties in Ulster. If we can keep that good, we can ensure that there is a whole town and community response to large crowds, that's the way to go.
"We need to look at parking, we need to improve that. We need to look at the experience within the stadium, and that's all being looked at now. I think that's the way to go," Cllr. Treanor added.
