Two special memorial masses are being held for Pope Francis in both cathedrals of Cavan and Monaghan tomorrow evening. The masses for the repose of the soul of the late pope are to be celebrated by each of the bishops of the Dioceses of Kilmore and Clogher.
Bishop of Kilmore, Martin Hayes, will celebrate a memorial mass for the happy repose of the soul of Pope Francis in the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, on Friday evening, 25th April at 7:30p.m
At the same time, Bishop Larry Duffy will celebrate a mass for Pope Francis in the Diocese of Clogher in Saint Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan Town tomorrow evening also. In an official statement on the death of the Pontiff, Bishop Duffy said "We will find much to reflect on about the life and ministry of Pope Francis."
