Bon Secours Clinic Cavan has recently moved to a new premises on the Drumalee Health Campus.
The clinic first opened its doors on the Farnham Road in Cavan in October 2016.
It was officially opened by Minister Niamh Smyth on the 3rd October 2025.
The move to the new premises marks a new chapter for the clinic demonstrating its commitment to the ongoing delivery of accessible, high-quality, patient-centred health care in the region
The clinic is conveniently located adjacent to the HSE primary care centre, with 5 GP practices, and a pharmacy.
It boasts a modern, welcoming environment with three consulting and two diagnostic rooms which have been tailored for patient comfort and convenience.
Patients have access to seven different specialties and 13 consultants who have regular clinics with more consultants joining the team later in the year.
Having quicker and more convenient access to some of the country's leading specialists has led to patients only having to travel to Dublin for their procedure as required with their pre and post procedure appointments taking place in the clinic in Cavan Town.
This not only reduces costs and time off work for many patients, contributes to a reduction in carbon emissions in line with the HSE Climate Action strategy, but for older and less mobile patients, it is also much more convenient and trouble free for them.
