Over 12,000 Monaghan homes, businesses and farms can now avail of a high-speed fibre broadband connection, with almost 4,900 premises already connected to NBI's network.
16,000 premises in Co Monaghan are also included in the State's Intervention Area.
As the biggest investment in rural Ireland since rural electrification, Co Monaghan will receive €60m of Government investment under the National Broadband Plan.

National Broadband Ireland is calling on people living in Co Monaghan to visit nbi.ie/map/ and enter their Eircode to see if they are ready to connect.
