Co Monaghan was put firmly on the map at this year's All-Ireland Pride of Place Awards.
Now in its 23rd year, the IPB Pride of Place Awards honour the selfless efforts of people who make their local neighbourhoods better places to live, work, and socialise.
Doohamlet Community Centre took home first place in the Community Wellbeing Initiative category.
The win was described as a "huge achievement" for a group that has transformed their village with a centre offering vital health services and events.
This award celebrates the heart of Doohamlet the people, the volunteers, and the amazing groups that bring the Centre to life every single week.
Meanwhile, Carrickroe Community Development were crowned runners up in the Population 0-300 category.
Monaghan County Council says this small but mighty community continues to dream big, working tirelessly to make Carrickroe even more beautiful.
