A Monaghan councillor has described the discovery of a man's body in Clones as a tragedy for the local community.
The body of Mykola Dernovi was found at a residence in the Diamond area of the town on Saturday night.
A post mortem was carried out on the remains of Mr Dernovi at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan, the results of which are steering Gardaí enquiries Local councillor Pat Treanor says the community is in total shock at the incident.
