A special event is taking place in Kilcogy this weekend in memory of Aidy Sheridan.
A major raffle and monster auction is taking place in memory of Aidy to allow a playground be created in Mullahoran. Built in loving memory of Adie, the playground will be a place of joy, colour and community - just like the person it's named after.
What once was only a dream is now becoming a reality, due to support of family, friends and the wider community.

The major fundraiser will happen in Sheridan's Bar at 9.30pm tomorrow night. Local councillor Philip Brady says a lot of money has been gathered already, adding that this weekend is one final push to get the playground over the line.
