Farmers across the Northern Sound region are being advised to prepare for drought conditions if the current warm spell continues.
Farms across the region have been busy in recent weeks due to early summer weather.
Many are making up for what was a poor year weather-wise last year. A representative with the Irish Farm Accounts Co-operative Society Limited says farmers should be prepared should the dry spell continue beyond next week.
Sean McGovern, an Ifac partner based on the Cavan-Leitrim border office says feed companies have seen an increase in demand.
