Works are currently taking place in Cloughvalley Park in Carrickmacross. Construction works have begun on the new sensory garden along with an outdoor educational space and it’s hoped, weather permitting, to be completed over a 6-8 week period.
Local Councillor Colm Carthy says this will enhance the public amenity for the area. He says the popular amenity already has a lot to offer but this will be about continuing the works on the overall master plan for the park.
