Works are well underway and on target on the former Percy French Hotel in Ballyjamesduff.
The former landmark building in the town will become a state of the art community building.
The €7.6M project will redevelop and refurbish the former Percy French Hotel and site in the centre of Ballyjamesduff providing a remote working hub and community facility.
Members of the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District were told that the facility will be completed by Q3 of 2027.
They were told how asbestos was removed from the site in recent weeks and the demolition works are completed,
Underpinning is underway and foundations are being laid.
The block work is about to commence on the large scale site and in the further weeks the structural steel will begin to be erected.
The multi million euro project is set to be opened by the end of next year.
