Cavan County Council is undertaking a public consultation on the re-deployment of CCTV cameras at its 'Bring Back Network' across Co Cavan.
The local authority intends to install and operate CCTV cameras for fixed time periods at various sites.
This is for the sole purpose of preventing litter and illegal dumping and enforcement of the Litter Pollution Act, 1997 as amended.
These centres are located at a number of locations across Co Cavan.

Submissions and/or observations on the proposed re-deployment of CCTV cameras are invited from members of the public and from voluntary and representative bodies.
Submissions or observations with respect to this proposal may be made in writing to the Environmental Services Section, Cavan County Council, Farnham St, Cavan, County Cavan or alternatively, you may email submissions or observations to [email protected]. This consultation will be for a period of three weeks, ending on 26th November, 2025.
