Coroner and Forensic teams to examine Blacklion remains

Gardaí are investigating "all the circumstances" following the discovery of skeletal remains at a building site in Blacklion.

The discovery was made at approximately 4.30pm yesterday afternoon located close to Loughan House.

Gardai say the Coroner’s Office has been notified and investigations are ongoing. The scene is currently preserved for a forensic and technical examination which is expected to take place later this morning. The forensic analysis will determine the course of the investigation.
