Cavan County Council is commencing the preparation of a feasibility study for the provision of a community, enterprise, and tourism hub in Belturbet.
The study will also look at preparing a masterplan for the future development of the Belturbet Heritage Railway complex. The purpose of the plan is to identify suitable locations for a proposed community, enterprise, and tourism hub.
The local authority says the Masterplan is at an early stage and an important part of the plan preparation is engagement with the local community and property owners.
Cavan County Council is holding a public consultation evening on the Belturbet Masterplan Project in the Town Hall Civic Centre, on the evening of Wednesday, 19 April 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.
A questionnaire will be available at the public consultation and everyone is welcome to attend.
