A local councillor has highlighted a number of road safety issues in the village in Drung.
Cllr Stiofan Conaty says the ramps that are currently in the village need to be replaced.
He believes they are hazardous and unsightly.
The local councillor confirmed a strip along the road will now to be placed along the road in an effort to slow motorists.
Cllr Conaty says the village needs further investment around road linings and in turn helping with road safety.
