The Crocus Christmas Jumper Weekend takes place in Monaghan Town this weekend.
It's the first time the event is being ran over two days following a smaller event that was run last year.
On Saturday the Garda Mounted support unit from Dublin will be assisting Santa and Mrs Claus to the grotto located at the Diamond in Monaghan Town.

A Christmas food market is also planned for Sunday with all proceeds of the weekend going to Crocus.
