Monaghan Harps GAA won the Monaghan GAA Crocus Movember Championship for 2023.
The Joint Runners up were St Louis Monaghan, St. Macartan's College and Beech Hill College.
All the groups worked hard to raise vital funds for Crocus and even more importantly raise awareness around men's health. This is the second year of the competition but the first year that the three local schools got on board. Throughout the month of November, the schools held talks and events on mental health and men's health in general.
Martin Maguire from Crocus says the funds raised are very important but creating that conversation and getting men talking is very important. Francis Dalmer is a student from Beech Hill College, he said he knows how important Crocus is to so many people in Monaghan, adding this way a way to give back to the local charity.
