Three people charged in connection with a serious assault in Monaghan Town in January of this year have been further remanded on bail.
Jason Maughan and his younger brother Stephen Maughan both of Mullaghmatt, Monaghan along with Molly Roberts of Lakeview, Enagh, Monaghan appeared before Judge Raymond Finnegan at Monaghan District Court today.
The charges relate to assault causing harm to a man aged in his 40s on the Park Road in Monaghan Town on January 14th.

Judge Finnegan was told today that no direction from the DPP has been brought before the courts as of yet in relation to the case. A date of the 20th of October was set to allow for DPP directions in the Monaghan Town assault case.
