A deep clean is getting underway at an Offaly garda station where two officers became unwell yesterday.
They had to be hospitalised after falling ill while handling vapes which had been seized as part of an ongoing investigation.
Its thought the vapes contained THC which caused noxious fumes when it leaked, allowing it to come into contact with lithium batteries.

The Gardai are still under medical supervision.
Edenderry garda station remains closed today while the clean-up operation is underway and investigations continue.
