Our Lady's Secondary School in Castleblayney has been approved for a major extension. The approval by the Minister for Education, Norma Foley also allows for the refurbishment of three additional classrooms.
According to Cavan-Monaghan TD , Deputy Niamh Smyth these specialist classrooms will be a "welcome" addition for the school's special classes.
Deputy Smyth said she would like to congratulate Principal Eddie Kelly, his staff and Board of Management on such a positive development for the area.

Deputy Smyth added that she now "looks forward" to seeing the completion of these works being carried out in the very near future.
