Drainage improvement works are continuing on the L1507 between Milltown and Bakersbridge.
The road has undergone drainage works in recent weeks in an effort to prolong the life of the road.
A member of Cavan County Council said that the drainage issue needed to be resolved as a matter of urgency on this route.

They confirmed at a recent meeting of the Cavan Belturbet Municipal District that works are continuing on this stretch of road.
