A driver in Cavan has been arrested following an incident of dangerous driving.
Gardaí from the Cavan roads policing unit were carrying out speed checks on the N55 in Kilcogy.
A driver was caught driving at 181kph in the 100kph zone.

They were arrested and charged, and will face a court date in the near future.
Gardaí are reminding road users to slow down and arrive alive.
