A driver in Cavan is facing a court date after failing a roadside drug test.
The car was stopped by Cavan Roads Policing Unit on the N3 near Killygarry this week.
The motorist was tested on an oral fluids drugs test and failed for not only cannabis but also Cocaine, Amphetamine and Benzodiazepines.
They were arrested and a blood sample was taken for testing at the medical bureau of road safety,
Gardaí are reminding motorists to take extra precautions this bank holiday weekend.
