A tenant in situ scheme allows a tenant to continue to rent a home, if a landlord is selling the rental property.

This is because either the local authority or the Housing Agency steps in and buys the property from your landlord, and then continues to rent the property to you.
Minister Browne highlighted, that the expenditure provided to the local authorities covers all areas of acquisitions activity, such as funding the purchase price, the legal and professional fees to transact the sale, and also any necessary refurbishment works.
