€580,000 of cannabis has been seized and a man arrested in Castleblayney.
Yesterday, Gardai made the seizure at a property in the area.
The man who is in his 60s was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Castleblayney Garda Station.

He will appear before Monaghan District Court today, Saturday, after being charged in connection with the incident.
The search was part of Operation Tara.
The drugs seized have been sent for further analysis and investigations are ongoing
