Gardai are appealing for information after an electric wheelchair was stolen from its user in Bailieboro.
The incident took place on Wednesday the 20th of August at 3.30pm.
According to Gardai, the male wheelchair user visited the popular amenity of Castle Lake in Bailieboro.
After arriving back to his vehicle, he placed his wheelchair into the vehicle.
While turning to place his second "quickie" electric wheelchair into the vehicle he noticed that it was gone.
A white van was seen leaving the area at this time.
Garda Lisa Stevens of Bailieboro Garda Station is appealing to anyone who was in the area of Castle Lake carpark at the time of the incident and noticed anything suspicious to get in touch.
