Two electrical recycling days have been confirmed for Co Cavan offering the free disposal of many household and office electrical items are set to take place in Lavey GFC, Drummanduff this Friday August 25th, and Lidl Car Park in Cavan Town on Saturday, September 9th.
Both free disposal events will take place from 10am to 4pm and people in Cavan are being encouraged to drop off anything with a plug or battery including large electrical appliances, computer equipment, and small household appliances.
Cavan County Council states non-electrical items will not be collected. The local authority also advised that all used batteries will also be accepted.
The recycling initiative has been organised by Cavan County Council in association with the European Recycling Platform.
