Emergency services at serious road collision in Co Monaghan

The Monaghan Road in Roslea is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision.

The collision occurred near Inishammon Cross Road, Smithboro in County Monaghan.

Gardai are at the scene, and the road is expected to remain closed until further notice.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and plan their journeys accordingly.

The R187 is currently closed. Local diversions are in place.
