A Co Cavan EuroMillions player has struck gold in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.
The National Lottery has confirmed that a player in Co Cavan is now €500,000 richer after matching all 5 numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
The Cavan player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on 31st May from Costcutter, Railway Road, Cavan.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound, Darragh O'Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said; "It's been an extraordinary night of celebrations across the country, with three players in Cavan, Clare, and Kerry waking up significantly richer today.
"We're thrilled to see two EuroMillions Plus top prizes of €500,000 and a Match 5 win of €212,330 all land in one night across both the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws."
