Your Health Matter Roadshow with the Irish Cancer Society is coming to Cavan for the first time.
The Roadshow will take place in Johnston Central Library on Wednesday, 4th February to mark World Cancer Day 2026.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Your Health Matters Roadshow promotes early detection and cancer prevention by helping people and it also offers an opportunity to earn how to recognise early signs of cancer and understand free screening services in Ireland
You will be able to speak directly with a cancer nurse about any concerns and receive a free 15 minute health check.
An opening performance by the Cuan Crooners, women’s health talk, men’s health talk and a number of information stands will also be in attendance. Sonya Carr with the Irish Cancer Society is calling on people living locally to attend on the day.
