Africa Day is returning to the region with a series of vibrant events.
Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora, Neale Richmond TD, launched the nationwide programme of events for Africa Day 2025.
This year's Africa Day Cavan is taking place on across two dates, with celebrations taking place at Ballyhaise Community Centre tomorrow from 7pm to 9.30pm and Cavan Rugby Club on Saturday, 17th May from 2pm-6pm. Both Africa Day Cavan events will be a vibrant celebration of African culture featuring traditional music, dance performances, authentic cuisine, art exhibitions, and engaging activities for all ages.
Africa Day is the annual worldwide celebration of the people, cultures, and potential of the African continent. Stanley Nwaneri, Chairperson of the 4Cs, Cavan Cross Cultural Community says it's a wonderful event that brings people from all cultural backgrounds together.
