An exhibition on the history of the Protestant Association of Cavan which launched in December is continuing, with another exhibition launching in the Monaghan Peace Campus next month.
'A voice of their own: The Protestant Associations of Cavan. Donegal, and Monaghan 1920 - 2016', aims to give a perspective of the unique history of these associations, and bring an opportunity for renewed dialogue and reconciliation of the past.
The exhibition has been in the Cavan County Museum for the past month, and will be launching in Monaghan Peace Campus on February 7th.
Dr. Samuel Beckton, is a stakeholder manager for a cross-border and cross-community peace initiative within the border counties.
He spoke to Northern Sound about why the local element of these exhibitions means the two exhibitions will be different experiences.
