A father of six has been named as the crash victim of the Shercock collision that occurred on Monday.
David McBride lost his life in the collision that occurred early on Monday morning between Shercock and Cootehill.

He was aged in his 40s and died in the collision involving a car and a lorry, which happened on the R192 at Corcloughan.
David was well known across the region by local shop owners as he delivered newspapers every morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision.
In an online post, David was described as an hard working man, a lovely man, a person that enjoyed a good chat and someone that always spoke so fondly of his family.
