A Sinn Fein MLA based in Co Fermanagh has criticised the DUPs decision to block the restoration of power sharing in protest against post-Brexit trading agreements.
It's been confirmed there'll be new Assembly elections in Northern Ireland, but there are fears it won't resolve the underlying issue.
According to Jemma Dolan, a December election will be "ridiculously offensive" to the public, particularly as a result of the current cost of living crisis, with the cost of an election working out at over six million pounds.

Speaking to Northern Sound, the Sinn Fein representative said that she does not know what an election will change.
