On Monday, rioters in Ballymena attacked homes of people they believed to be immigrants after a protest linked to an alleged sexual assault in the town.

Petrol bombs and fireworks have been thrown at police officers in Portadown in a fifth night of violence in Northern Ireland.

The unrest, which police have described as "racist thuggery", has now spread to other parts of the region.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland says there'll be an increased police presence over the weekend.
