Fire at retail premises in Cavan brought under control

A number of units of Cavan Fire Service has attended a fire at a retail premises in Cavan Town.

Just before 2.30pm this afternoon, two units from Cavan backed up by Belturbet attended a fire to the rear of a retail unit on the Dublin Road in the town.

Fire crews brought the fire under control and crews prevented any spread to the main retail units located on the road.
