Firefighters are continuing to tackle what's being described as a serious gorse fire in the West Cavan area this evening.
Gorse fires have been reported on Bawn mountain and on the Glan Gap.
The fire on Bawn mountain can reportedly be seen from up to 10kms away.

Crews from Belturbet and Ballyconnell are on scene currently as the blaze continues to burn.
So far there have been no injuries reported
