Fontaines DC are among the artists whose albums have been nominated for the 2025 Mercury Prize.
The awards show is taking place on the 16th of October in Newcastle, the first time it’s been held outside of London.
The prestigious awards celebrate the very best of British and Irish music of the year.

The band which includes Monaghan man Conor Curley have been nominated for their fourth album Romance, having previously been nominated in 2019 for their debut album Dogrel.
