From today women can get HRT medicines and products free of charge at their pharmacy.
The Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill has launched the free Hormone Replacement Therapy scheme.
However, women are being encouraged to sign up for the Drugs Payment Scheme Card in order to get the free products.
