The European Recycling Platform is running a free electrical drop off recycling event taking place today in Lidl Car Park, North Road, Monaghan from 10am-4pm.
These Drop Off events make for the perfect opportunity for people to get some spring cleaning done and clear out any old tech or electrical goods that may be hanging around in drawers and cupboards.
ERP's most successful event last year took place in Lidl at Monaghan's North Road, where nearly 28 tonnes of Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment were collected in a single
day.
In total 60 tonnes were collected at Drop Off events in Monaghan throughout the year - that's the equivalent of 90 Patrick Kavanagh statues.
