Planning permission has been lodged for a pet crematorium in Co Monaghan.
The application is calling for the construction of a single storey pet crematorium building in Broomfield, Castleblayney.
This would include car parking, a new wastewater treatment system, and use of the existing entrance and exit onto the public road. Fresh plans have been lodged with Monaghan County Council following six months after moves to extend its period of duration for a further five year period were rejected.
The application was refused just before Christmas last year. County planners will decide on this application towards the end of July.
