A Cavan Senator has raised the issue of inadequate funding for Co Cavan roads.
Pauline Tully recently raised the issue in the Seanad, on what she described as the wholly inadequate funding given by the Government to Cavan County Council to repair the local road network.
Senator Tully noted that at the rate of the roads repaired this year will not be repaired again for another 100 years.
She added that adverse weather is exacerbating the issue, and there will be no road left at that rate.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the Sinn Fein Senator outlined the issue.
