A fundraiser has been set up for a Belturbet man who lost his home to a fire.
On Monday morning, fire crews responded to a call out in the Drumalore area of the town.
The homeowner, Mervyn was able to escape through an upstairs window, but the house was destroyed.

Adrian Jackson is a neighbour and says while they can't replace the memories and sentimental items that were lost, the community wanted to provide support however they could.
Over €5,000 has been raised in under 24 hours, and a link to the fundraiser is available here.
Adrian says even after a house fire, Mervyn isn't someone to ask for help.
