The celebrant at a funeral for a Garda killed in a road incident is asking people to show courtesy to one another on the road.
Garda Kevin Flatley was laid to rest yesterday, having been knocked down by a motorbike last Sunday near Swords in Dublin while carrying out speed checks.
Gardaí, Defence Forces members, his local GAA club and local schools turned out to pay respects to the father of two at his funeral mass in Balbriggan.
An old friend of his, Father Dan Joe O'Mahoney, says we all need to share the road.
