Funeral details announced for Carrigallen crash victim

The funeral details of the young man killed in a single vehicle collision in Carrigallen have been announced. Dessie O'Kelly died when the tractor he was a passenger in collided at Aghavilla, Carrigallen, yesterday afternoon at around 3 o'clock. The male driver - also in his late teens - is in Cavan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Dessie will repose at his home on Good Friday from four until eight and on Easter Saturday from five until eight. Funeral mass in St Marys church Drumeela on Easter Sunday at two with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Local councillor Gary Prior has been paying tribute to the young man;
