The late Dr Rory O'Hanlon has been described by those who knew him as a "caring practitioner" and "one of the most experienced public representatives across any party" in Ireland.
The former Cavan-Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD died yesterday at home surrounded by his family.
He will repose in his home at Mullinary, Carrickmaross, on Friday 3rd of April and Saturday 4th of April from 2pm until 8pm with the home strictly private at all other times.
Rory’s funeral cortège will leave his home on Sunday 5th April, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253 arriving at 11.50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in St.Mary's Cemetery, Mullaghbane, Co Armagh, BT35 9RA. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Holy Family School, Cootehill.
